VBCA Scholarship winners chosen

Each year coaches nominate deserving student/athletes. The nominees are then screened by the scholarship committee. The money for the scholarships is raised by coaches selling T-shirts at the final four games and any profits made from the Senior All-Star Games. Since 2000, the VBCA has awarded $70,200 to various student/athletes. This year’s winners are: Ali Jones, Poultney; Victoria Oliver, Sharon Academy; Riley Blankenship, Lyndon Institute; Lourdes Perry, Williamstown; Rachel Wood, Whitcomb; Lazrin Schenck, CVU; Winthrop Townsend, Windsor; Kirk Perham, Springfield; John Truong, Winooski; Eli Seale, Mid-Vermont Christian; Michael Murphy, South Royalton; and Aaron Wallace, Springfield.
