Have you seen the beautifully painted Barn Stars around town? There will be 30 Barn Stars readied for the Annual Chamber of Commerce Auction to be held on Saturday July 21 at 4:00 PM at the Hartness House.
Area artists have been busy painting these stars and they are a sight to behold. The Barn Stars will be on display throughout the garden area as you try to decide which star you will bid on.
In addition to these delightfully painted Barn Stars there will be additional items to bid on during the event. The Chamber will accept items of antique value or new items of $50.00 or more in value. What a great way to promote a business. If you would like to donate an item please call the Chamber for details, at 802-885-2779.
Save the date, Saturday, July 21, beginning at 4:00 PM at the Hartness House Inn. Join us in the tent for a cool beverage and complimentary Hors d'oeuvres, as we tour the garden to decide which of the Stars to bid on as well as the other items up for Auction. What a fun evening to spend with friends.
The following Business Star Gazers have graciously sponsored a Barn Star: Canal Street Beads, Dellamano Glassware, HB Energy, Edgar May Health & Recreation Center, Lashua Studios, Lane Eye Associates , Springfield Cinemas 3, , Springfield Justice Center, The Vault, VABIR, VonBargen’s Jewelry and VTEL. So when will someone post how much money was raised during the auction on July 21 and if needy families are receiving those funds?
ReplyDeleteWhy does everything in this town have to go to needy people? Enough of my tax dollars already go to needy people.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, you are right. Screw the needy people, give the money to the rich! Maybe they can buy a Barn Star or pay their country club dues with the money? Hopefully those were not your tax dollars that bid on the Barn Stars, directly or indirectly.
