11-year-old organizes fundraiser


A Springfield boy is hosting a basketball tournament this Saturday to raise money to support development efforts in Africa.

  1. Great job kid however what about keeping it in the USA? Just south of us was devastated by a hurricane and I don't see any other countries helping.

    2. How about stopping the negativity and allow Colby to do something that most kids his age would never even think about doing. I for one think that what he is doing is wonderful!

  2. My comment wasn't meant to be negative. I was merely suggesting donating the money to his own country as nobody else is donating to us however when Haiti or Japan has a disaster we (the USA) empties our wallets to help.
