SMCS Recognizes Mary Perry For 22 Years of Service

Springfield, VT - At its annual meeting held December 11, 2012, Springfield Medical Care Systems’ Board Chairman, Steve Birge, offered a special thank you and recognition to Mary Perry of Springfield, VT, for her Board service to Springfield Hospital and Springfield Medical Care Systems.
“Mary has served as Co-Chairperson of the Development Committee for many years. She has also served as Secretary of the Hospital Board and SMCS Board for many years. She has been involved in our annual fundraising, the Apple Blossom Cotillion, the golf tournament, and many more activities. Her thoughtful ideas expressed in our meetings and strategic plans have greatly contributed to the success of our organization. Her dignified grace, integrity, and kindness have been a model for all of us and she has been a great representative of our organization,” commented Steve Birge.
Glenn Cordner, Chief Executive Officer, adds, “Mary has played a key role in our organization over the years and, while we are sorry to see her Board term end, we are very grateful for her 22 years of service. Her contributions are substantial, and have clearly made a difference in our community.”
