The L is back

On Saturday, Justin Page of VTel took time out from Market Madness preparations to install a new L in the SPRINGFIELD sign on the poison ivy bank on River Street.

The signmakers would like to thank Bibens Ace Hardware and Sherwin Williams for donating paint, Springfield Coop for donating plywood and Cherry Hill Farm for the generous loan of the fence posts. If you fancy a letter for yourself, skip the poison ivy and send Honor Hingston-Cox an email (honor.hingston at gmail) and she'll make you a letter.

    That sign is a very good air quality indicator. If you can't see it from Ridgewood Associates across the river, the air quality is quite bad.
