BENNINGTON — Springfield fell to 0-2 in a tough day against BBA in the opening round of the Mount Anthony John James Tournament.
”We were steamrolled,” coach Jade Costello said, but she praised freshman goalie Grace Morvan, who had 18 saves and was under attack constantly.
“We have to work on possession and passing,” Costello added.
Springfield will play the loser of the Brattleboro-MAU contest on Saturday in the consolation round.
