Wasps overpower Cosmos

Woodstock 6, Springfield 0
SPRINGFIELD — Woodstock needed a second-half outburst to pull away from Springfield after leading 1-0 at halftime.
Woodstock, 6-6-1, got goals from Lily Doton, Sarah Yates, Holli Olson, Madison Schultz, Erika Gebhardt and Miranda Johnson.
Woodstock outshot Springfield 24-4. Wasps keeper Molly Henne had four saves while Springfield’s Anna Parker had a very active day with 18 saves.
Springfield fell to 2-10-1.
Woodstock plays its final game of the regular season at Mount Anthony on Friday.
