CCV to offer free course to high schoolers

The Community College of Vermont’s Springfield center will offer a free course to high school students beginning next month.

The course, Introduction to College Studies, will be held on Mondays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. from Feb. 23 through May 18. It will take place in the conference room at the Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce at 5 Westminster Street in Bellows Falls.

Introduction to College Studies is a non-credit course that provides an orientation to the college experience and career exploration for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

This course helps students make the transition to college and careers by exploring the skills and expectations necessary to succeed in academic and professional settings.
