Boys basketball season review
A season glance at each team, along with its representatives on the Boys Basketball All-Eagle Team.

GREEN MOUNTAIN (13-8)
The Chieftains started slow, but ran off a lengthy winning streak midseason and earned the No. 7 seed in VPA Division III before being eliminated by Peoples Academy in the first round.
All-Eagle
Kyle Kemp
Senior, Guard/Forward
Kemp could hit shots from outside and get to the rim when needed. He was a versatile player defensively and played in the VBCA Division III-IV Senior All-Star Game. Kemp also surpassed 1,000 points for his career this season.
Cooper McCoy
Junior, Guard
McCoy possesses a good perimeter shot, but also sees the floor well enough to find teammates and can wreak havoc on the defensive end of the floor to generate turnovers. He was named to the VBCA Division III-IV Dream Dozen as a top underclassman.
SPRINGFIELD (3-18)
The Cosmos jumped out to a promising start, but struggled to find offensive consistency and wound up with the No. 14 seed in the VPA Division II playoffs, leading to a first-round exit.
All-Eagle
Josh Rivers
Senior, Forward
Rivers was one of the better post players in the Marble Valley League. When established in the post, he could put the ball in the bucket and was also a top rebounder for Springfield.
BELLOWS FALLS (2-19)
The Terriers sputtered out of the gate and failed to get on track. However, BF did earn wins against Poultney and Black River before falling the first round of the VPA Division II playoffs as the No. 15 seed.
All-Eagle
Jake Mead
Senior, Guard
Mead was the most reliable performer for the Terriers throughout the season. He can sink the 3-pointer and can be a handful on the defensive end of the floor.
