RVTC Audio Video Production students Aja and Kaelan Selbach won the Gold Medal in Digital Cinematography at Skills USA, Vermont.
As you may have heard, The Audio Video Production Program at the River Valley Technical Center in Springfield, VT won the gold medal at SkillsUSA Vermont and has qualified to compete at the National SkillsUSA Conference for Digital Cinematography. As such, we are now tasked with the challenge of raising enough money to make the trip happen.
The RVTC AVP Team needs to raise $4000 total with $2,500 due by May 15th in order to attend Nationals. We would greatly appreciate any size sponsorship that you would be willing to donate towards our students trip to represent Vermont at the Skills USA National Conference (SkillsUSA.org).

Donations can also be made directly to the AVP program (via cash or check) which saves us the 5% fee charged for online transactions.
Checks can be made out to: "The River Valley Technical Center" with a note/memo stating that the donation is for the “AVP Skills USA”. Mail to:
Zachary McNaughton, RVTC AVP, 307 South St., Springfield, VT 05156 .

We will mention all sponsorships over $200.00 on our "RVTC Studios" facebook page as well as in any pressreleases sent
out after sponsorships have been received. Sponsors who donate $750 or more will receive a short "thank you" video
produced by Aja and Kaelan matching the style/format of the video embedded below: (Sponsors can use this video on social
media to showcase their support of our school and National Skills USA TV Production team). Thanks for your support!
We'll also be raffling off a Fishing Charter with Captain Mike Tarasavage of iFishLakeChamplain.com Charters as well as hosting a "Broad-Brothers Productions Movie Night" at one of our regional theaters (more information to come on this event in the future). The movie night event will showcase a progression of short films and other videos produced by Aja and Kaelan from the time they were little kids up until present day.
Fun Fact: Last year AVP's students (Rebekah Ferreira and Elliot Thompson) won states for TV Production. Thanks to the support of our community, we were able to attend nationals and won gold competing against every state in the nation as well as teams from Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands!
