Chester man arrested in Wing case

A Chester man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the homicide of Wesley Wing last month.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 22, 2015 the Springfield Police Department and the Vermont State Police arrested Darrell Barror for his alleged involvement in the homicide of Wesley Wing that occurred in Springfield, Vermont on April 18, 2015.

Barror was alleged to have aided the suspect Gregory Smith by providing transportation and supplies to Gregory Smith he was a fugitive from justice and avoiding capture for allegedly having committed 2nd Degree Murder.

Barror was lodged at Southern State Correction Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash or surety bail and will be arraigned in Windsor County Superior Court - Criminal Division on Tuesday, May 26th at 12:30.

  3. Amen Anonymous 2:31 AM! Shows how much our exalted authorities value human life here in Springfield. Our justice system is a mess; at least in this case, bail was apparently set just high enough so the perp ended up in jail.
