Bellows Falls, Springfield land eight MVL all-stars
VPA Division III state champion Bellows Falls and Springfield have landed seven players and a coach on the 2015 Marble Valley League Field Hockey All-star team.

LUDLOW, Vt. — VPA Division III state champion Bellows Falls and Springfield have landed seven players and a coach on the 2015 Marble Valley League Field Hockey All-star team.
The Terriers, who went 13-2-2 overall and shut out all three opponents in the D-3 tournament, had three all-stars on the A Division squad.
Senior halfback and captain Emily Stoddard, is a returning all-star. Joining her this year is junior halfback Murphy Hicks and head coach Bethany Coursen. Coursen is also a returnee from the 2014 all-star team.
The Cosmos' Alisha Dykes, a senior defender and captain, is a Division B returnee from the 2014 all-star squad.
Also named to the team from Springfield are junior midfielder and captain Kelsey Gould, and goalkeeper Aunna Parker.
Bellows Falls' Abbe Cravinho, a freshman forward, and Paxton Santorelli, a sophomore halfback, were recognized as honorable mentions.
Others named to the A Division team are Hartford's Megan Newton, Kristin Davis and Rachel Loseby; Mount Anthony's Kori Bow and Claire Taub; Otter Valley's Allison Lowell and Maia Edmunds; Rutland's Abbie Foley, Devon Sanborn and Mia Sanborn; and Woodstock's Lily Doton and Loretta Blakeney.
The B Division squad also includes Barttleboro's Hannah Wilson, Laura Freeman and Marlena Lynch; Burr & Burton's Cydney Jeffrey, Erin Cairns, Amelia Cummings, Audriauna Bryant and coaches Barb Miceli and Julie Fifield; and Fair Haven's Kaitlyn Pellerin and Megin Eaton.
Additional honorable mentions are Emily Sullivan from Burr & Burton; Fair Haven's Keilani Pellerin, Morgan Horne of Hartford and Maddie Schultz from Woodstock.
