High school bowling season gets underway


The high school bowling season got underway Saturday with the 4th annual Kick-Off Classic at the Rutland Bowlerama. Fourteen high schools from across the area participated including Springfield.

    Glad to see the Springfield youngsters did well. Hard to compute whether the subnormal conditions at the Springfield lanes - mostly the ancient, semi-functional pinsetters - are a help or a hindrance to their competence.
