Springfield Hospital hires Dean W. Chapman, MD

Springfield Hospital has hired hospitalist Dean Chapman.

Dr. Chapman joins fellow hospitalists, Thornton Cody, MD, Carol Burgess, MD, Barbara Dalton, MD, Vitaliano Sicilia, MD, Katrina Taylor, DO, JoElla McCarragher, MSN, ACNP-BC, and Sandra Youmatz, MSN, NP.

Dr. Chapman received his B.A. in English from Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio. He went on to receive his Doctor of Ministry at Columbia Theological Seminary. He later attended the University of Central Florida and earned his MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Chapman completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, VT, and served as a Hospitalist at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT, and most recently at Canton Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, NY.
