No life-threatening injuries in head-on crash


A photo of the scene of a head-on collision taken just moments after it happened at 4:35 pm in front of Matulonis Auto, 96 Charlestown Road in Springfield.

EMS/Fire personnel, including EMS from Golden Cross and Charlestown, responded. The jaws of life had to be used on both vehicles to get the occupants out. They were transported to Springfield Hospital. No one sustained any life-threatening injuries from the accident.

This crash remains under investigation. Sgt. Gregory Jon Molgano of the Springfield Police Department is requesting that anyone who was a witness or may have specific information regarding this event please contact him at 802-885-2113.
