FAIR HAVEN — Olivia Bowen struck out the first 11 Cosmos she faced and finished the game with 18 strikeouts.
Sophie Hadeka and Liz Muratorri got key hits in the first inning when the Slaters got all of their runs. Jade Twombly shut out Fair Haven the rest of the way picking up eight strike-outs herself. The Slaters are now 2-3 and are at Poultney on Tuesday.
