SAPA TV is seeking input on content and event coverage. As a community access television station for the communities of Springfield, Weathersfield, and Chester, it is SAPA TV’s goal continue to meet the needs of these viewing communities. Community input can help SAPA TV determine local preferances as well as how the network can better serve these communities.
The 2016 SAPA TV Survey is online at www.sapatv.org . All survey participants will be entered to win a cash prize. The drawing will be held on November 20, 2016. (Survey participants do not have to be present to win)

A SAPA TV People's Choice Award from last year's ceremony is shown.(Courtesy) SPRINGFIELD — On Oct. 20, SAPA TV, Springfield’s cable access TV station, will hold its annual meeting and and the Second Annual People’s Choice Awards for community productions. The event will be held at the River Valley Technical Center Cafe, starting at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres, socializing, and a SAPA TV studio open house. Food will be provided by the RVTC Culinary program. At 6 p.m., the 2016 SAPA TV annual meeting will be held in the RVTC cafe. Community members will be updated on events from the 2015/2016 fiscal year, and there will be nominations for SAPA TV board members. Community members who would like to be a part of the station’s board should contact SAPA TV at (802) 885-6248. Immediately following the annual meeting, the 2nd Annual SAPA TV People’s Choice Awards will be held. Awards will be given out to local producers and volunteers for productions created in the 2015/2016 viewing season. SAPA TV is asking community members for their input on what their favorite SAPA TV produced shows were. Community members can view and vote this year’s categories and nominees at www.sapatv.org. Voting is open until 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10. This event is free and open to the public. If you plan to attend, an RSVP is appreciated but not necessary. Please send an RSVP to info@sapatv.org. Voting for board members is limited to residents of SAPA TV’s service area, the towns of Springfield, Chester and Weathersfield. Residents of these towns do not have to be cable subscribers to vote.
