For its contribution to health care in Vermont, SMCS will receive $139,251. “As ranking member of the Subcommittee on Primary Health, I know that this much-needed funding will help expand access to high-quality health care at community health centers across Vermont,” Sanders said. The awards are Vermont’s share of $100 million in nationwide grants for 1,304 health centers. Today’s announcement included awards for health centers with the highest clinical outcomes and clinical improvement.
