On Saturday, Oct. 8, Springfield Elks Lodge #1560 will be hosting the Vermont Elks State President Robert Campo of Barre Lodge and Vermont Elks Southern District Deputy Greg Pinsonneault of Bennington Lodge.

SPRINGFIELD — On Saturday, Oct. 8, Springfield Elks Lodge #1560 will be hosting the Vermont Elks State President Robert Campo of Barre Lodge and Vermont Elks Southern District Deputy Greg Pinsonneault of Bennington Lodge.
In the afternoon, District Deputy Pinsonneault will be inspecting the home of the Springfield Elks Lodge and interviewing their treasurer and secretary to make sure the books and rules and regulation are being adhered to properly according to Elks national statutes. With the help of the trustees, they will be inspecting the building to make sure they are up to code on every phase of the building.
The Springfield Elks will be putting on a sit-down dinner with a choice of chicken parmesan or roast pork and dancing to the music of local band, Dr. T. The public is invited to attend the dinner and dance at $30 per couple and $15 for singles. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
