2nd annual Howl O' Ween dog walk benefits humane society
SPRINGFIELD — The 2nd annual Howl O’ Ween Dog Walk will be happening on Saturday, Oct. 29 on the Toonerville Trail in Springfield at 2 p.m. (rain date Sunday, Oct. 30). This event benefits the Springfield Humane Society and their critical work saving the lives of unfortunate animals. Last year the shelter served more than 500 dogs and cats. They rely on donations from caring individuals like you! So, join the fun and compete for a prize for best dog costume! Dogs and costumes are not necessary- feel free to walk with us solo or with a friend to support the local humane society and its important work saving the lives of abandoned and unwanted animals. Ask your friends and family to support your walk- pledge sheets are available at the shelter (401 Skitchewaug Trail, Springfield, Vermont) and on their website: spfldhumane.org
No donation is too small and walkers without dogs are welcome too! For more information or to make a donation please feel free to call Anne Eddy, Shelter Director at (802) 885-3997.
