Emotional plea from mom of missing Vt. teen Posted: Oct 11, 2016 6:21 PM EDT Updated: Oct 11, 2016 6:41 PM EDT By Adam SullivanCONNECT Autumn Sanville Autumn Sanville WEATHERSFIELD, Vt. - "I am losing my mind," Karlene Rogstad said. "I want to know where my daughter is." Emotions run the gamut for Rogstad, the mother of a Vermont teen missing since last Thursday. "I want answers," she said. "I want someone to say something because I am fearing the worst. I know in my heart my daughter didn't run away." Autumn Sanville's car was located Oct. 6 at the boat ramp in Springfield. Family members and police have been actively searching for the 17-year-old since. Rogstad's tears turn to smiles when she points to family vacation pictures and talks about her daughter. "Lot of energy, fun, caring. She believes the good in everybody," Rogstad said. And like most teens, Autumn was online often. But Rogstad says since Autumn vanished, her phone has been turned off and her Facebook page deactivated. "It is a super huge red flag for me. Super huge," Rogstad said. "She doesn't go without her phone. It is attached to her hip." Detectives with the Vermont State Police were unavailable for an interview Tuesday, however, they do say they are continuing to investigate the case. They also say, at this time, the disappearance does not appear suspicious. But that does not sit well with this mom. "Autumn, baby, if you are watching please call me. Come home," she said. "I promise you are not in any trouble. I'm not mad at you I'm not upset with you. I just want you home." If in fact, she ran away, because Autumn is 17 and considered a juvenile, anyone found to be aiding her could be jailed for up to a year. The penalty increases to five years if a child is transported out of state. Autumn Sanville is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has long brown hair and green eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call State Police in Westminster at 802-722-4600.
