SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Springfield Area Parent Child Center is pleased announce the date for the annual Family Festival; it will be held at Riverside School on April 8 from 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. Our festival is held in conjunction with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and their week of the young child celebration. The theme for this annual event is a celebration of early learning, young children, their teachers and their families.
This annual spring event has grown into a well-attended community favorite. If you are part of an organization that provides services for young children and their families and wish to partner with us as an exhibitor, please contact Cathleen Corliss at SAPCC by February 27. You can reach Cathleen at 802-886-5242 for more information.
We are pleased to have the Springfield Police Dept attending as a return exhibitor, providing free ID cards for children. The Scholastic Book Fair will also be returning with buy one, get one free book sales. As always a variety of entertainment and activities will be offered to young children and families free of charge as well.
SAPCC has long been a community resource for children and families, providing free information and referrals, home visits, parent education and more in North Windham and South Windsor counties. Our mission statement is Strong Communities, One Family at a Time. This annual festival is just one of the many community collaborations focused on providing information, support and outreach to the youngest members of our community and their families.
If you would like to learn more about SAPCC and/or this festival, please give a call at 802-886-5242 or visit their website at www.sapcc-vt.org.
