Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont was the venue for the Annual Schweitzer Memorial Youth Tournament on Saturday March 4th Vermont Wrestler was there to catch all the action as nearly 300 girls and boys hit the mats. Bob Schweitzer, for whom the Tournament is named, 1994 Coach of the year, brought youth wrestling back to Springfield Vermont decades ago. A staunch supporter and advocate for wrestling in southern Vermont, he facilitated duel meets with locals schools and has coached many state champions. Schweitzer passed away several years ago.
