Levi Perham had a double and single and drove in four runs in the fourth, and Calvin Robie had a double, single and unknown number of RBI in the inning. In the same stanza, JJ LeCouffe contributed a 3-run double. Springfield got its 15 runs on eight hits. The Cosmos finished the game with 10 hits, 15 walks and three hit batters. Matt LaChapelle contributed ti the hit parade, going 2-for-3. LeCouffe was the winning pitcher, striking out five in three innings. Logan Whitcomb came on in relief and threw the final two frames. The duo held TV to two hits on the day. “He's pitched in three games now and he hasn't given up a fly ball,” Saypack said. “That's a little weird.” The Cosmos (1-4) head to Green Mountain (3-1) Saturday morning.
