Springfield piano studio marathon winners April 25, 2017 SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Terry Hartman (left) and Gabe McNeil were the first Springfield Piano Studio students to cross the finish line in the 26-week piano exercise marathon held at the Studio recently. The marathon, completed by all studio students, included 26 weeks of study in traditional piano exercises by composers such as Hanon and Czerny. Each student received a T-shirt from a past runner’s marathon as a reward for completing the race. The marathon finished the day of the 2017 Boston Marathon.
