The Cosmos fell to a rough start, allowing two goals in the first half. However, in the second half they were led by incoming freshman goalie Dylan Foster who made four saves and allowed only one goal in his first game. Springfield's first goal came from Kody Politza (incoming junior) and the second by Matt Veysey (incoming senior) tied the score at 2-2. Jared Pugh (incoming freshman) would score to tie the game again at 3-3 and the game-winner was put in the net by Cameron Harbeson (incoming senior). The Cosmos will head to Windsor on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
