2017-07-17 / Local Inmate charged for having drugs while in custody SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — An inmate at a prison in Springfield, Vermont is facing additional charges for allegedly transporting drugs into the correctional facility. Ricky Earl Thompson, 38, was charged on Friday, July 14 for possession of a controlled narcotic, transportation of regulated drug into a correctional facility and violation of conditions of release for allegedly transporting drugs into Southern State Correctional Facility, where he is currently being housed on other charges. Thompson is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Superior Court Aug. 22 for the additional charges.
He likes drugs, give him a handful and say open wide. Now swallow.
