This is an 8 bed facility with separate sleeping areas for men and women that operates for 12 hours, overnight, from November 15th to April 15th each winter. Two awake volunteers are needed at all times and the staff positions are responsible to support the recruiting, scheduling, and training of volunteers, opening and closing the shelter, on-call support to volunteers to handle any abnormal situations, misc. duties in support of shelter operations, and to fill in shifts when volunteers are not available. Applications must be submitted by September 3, 2017 for consideration for positions this winter.
