Springfield Medical Care Systems awarded grant for surgical drill | January 16, 2018 SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Springfield Medical Care Systems (SMCS) is pleased to announce that it has received a $4,558 grant from the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation to purchase a new surgical drill for use at Chester Family Dental in Chester. The new drill will allow Dentist Madhav Shrirao, DMD, to place dental implants, a new service at the center, and to surgically extract teeth, including wisdom teeth. Services provided by the center include routine hygiene and basic and major restorative care, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures, extractions and emergency dental services. “We appreciate the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation’s long-time partnership which, in this case, will help us provide a new, much needed service to patients,” said Dr. Shrirao of Chester Family Dental. “The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation is pleased to support Springfield Medical Care Systems (SMCS) and help them expand services to patients at Chester Family Dental. We are proud to support SMCS in their efforts to provide quality oral health care to patients of all ages,” said Crystal Carroll, Manager of Community Relations at Northeast Delta Dental.
