A Time To Recover

Here I am,
A patient in Room 104.
Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
I came here when
the stress was too much
and life's burden too heavy.

Here I am in a clean white bed.
Lucky child of God that I am,
sheltered from stress
and being taken care of.

In my fight for recovery
my allies are many.
I am one tank
followed by one division.
With such wonderful loving,
tender caring support, the battle will be won.

A busy place the hospital is.
A city that never sleeps.
Secure and warm I feel,
nestled within.
Here there is balm in Gilead.
Ministered to by my nurses,
kindly angels of the human race.
Secure in their tender loving care
I feel. God shows his love
in many wonderful ways.

Nurses are only part of the team.
A hospital's components are many.
But from head administrator
to custodian,
that team is playing to win.
They are all on my team
and the game will be won
when I am well again.
