The long-running NBC sketch comedy show "Saturday Night Live" opened its 44th season on Saturday and featured a sketch that lampooned Vermont, the second whitest state in the country, for its lack of diversity.

Kanye West's bizarre rant at the end of the show...
Sorry, but... they actually look and sound like a lot of Trump supporters. To be fair, there are good ones on both sides.
ReplyDeleteWhat say you Anonymous Roger?
The Story and experiences pointed out by the one guy sure do sound like Vermont and Vermont surroundings. I have experienced many of these areas and people, I don't ever think we Vermonters would ever discriminate based on race or ethnicity like the leaders are outlining. I certainly have experienced a level of Blog Trolls though, hard to tell how many there are because they hide behind are Anonymity.
ReplyDeleteQuit whining, Roger. You're the worst troll on this blog. You're just upset because we continuously trash your arguments. Everyone knows the dog whistle language by now, from you and the others. The definition of racism is not hatred of racial minorities, it's a belief that they are inherently inferior; meaning that minorities are OK, as long as they "know their place." That, and xenophobia in general, are pretty common here, to a degree that most people would find surprising. I'm white and middle class, yet I was shadowed by store clerks here for YEARS, in the belief I was a potential shoplifter. Kind of funny, once they were so busy watching me that a local walked out with a stolen pair of shoes on his feet! Things have improved somewhat, but I suppose there will always be people here who need to blame others for everything, like you, Roger!
DeleteNo Whining Here, Reread what you wrote and Find a Mirror!
ReplyDeleteAnd here, we have another classic example of the culture war. I compare the participants of this war to rodents. Rodents come in many, shapes, sizes, and yes, colors. Some can be found in big cities, some are more likely to be found in rural areas. Some are mean and hostile, some appear harmless and friendly. Make no mistake, however, THEY ARE ALL RODENTS. They all have these things in common; they invade, consume, destroy, and they all spread disease. They will dominate wherever they live, if left unchecked. In human form, they wear funny hats, wave signs, and loudly protest the injustice of their respective situations. They all demand that they be given the power to dominate, in the belief that their species is superior. What this country REALLY needs is not the radical changes that they promote, what it needs is political rat poison!
