The Hurricanes made 23 shots on Springfield goalkeeper Audrey Devost, while the Cosmos could only get one shot off all game. “It was a very defensive game,” Springfield head coach Bindy Hathorn said, “It was an amazing team effort.” Contributing to the strong defensive game was Springfield’s Maygen Jimenez. This game keeps the Cosmos at 0-4-1 and they will visit undefeated Bellows Falls on Tuesday.
