PAX host families needed May 25,2013 Rutland Herald SPRINGFIELD — Host families are need for Program of Academic Exchange students attending Springfield High School next fall. Hosting offers opportunities to learn new cultures, help students learn English and introduce them to life in America. PAX students do not need a separate bedroom, as long as the family can provide a bed in a room with a host sibling similar in age. Students have spending money of their own for personal expenses and they carry their own medical insurance. PAX students come from over 70 different countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
