Daughter of Ray Charles to sing, speak about addiction recovery
Sheila Raye Charles, daughter of music legend Ray Charles, will sing and tell her story of recovery from abuse, crack cocaine and prison at a series of performances across Vermont including one at the prison in Springfield.

ReplyDeleteIt actually turned out to be more of her sharing her experience of recovery from addiction. But what is curious to me is why You would think it strange that someone's brother or sister, mother, father, aunt, uncle, grand parent or friend would not be worthy of any comfort or encouragement from someone who's been there; done that.
ReplyDeleteWe all need grace and mercy and the uninformed responses on this post may not even be able to comprehend what I'm saying, sadly enough.
