Springfield mural to feature 'The Simpsons'

Turns out Simpsons creator Matt Groening was actually glad his Springfield Oregon lost to Springfield Vermont seven years ago.

  1. Those artists are needed in Springfield Oregon! Springfield Vermont continues to fail in everything except drugs per capita and dole monies per capita. Springfield, Vermont has now even failed in being the home of Bart Simpson. Hopefully that doesn't cause the failure of the Jenny Wren Cafe because they have believed in a false god, Bart Simpson. Maybe this would be a good time to change the name of the cafe since the name appears to be stolen from Paul McCartney. I bet they are infringing on his copyright.

  3. Are those costumes or a couple of the real people roaming the corners of downtown Springfield ?

  4. Who are the Simpson's?

  5. Shouldn't you be out littering the town with Bart Simpson idolatry paraphernalia?

  6. Springfield, OR has enough sense to not want to be represented by the Simpsons....

    1. This article is about Oregon (Home of the Simpsons) not about Vermont.

  7. If someone would be so kind as to photoshop out Matt Groening's head and replace it with Bob Forguites, the photo could be recaptioned as "Bob Forguites and his campaign team prepare for upcoming state elections."

  8. You cut and pasted that, didn't you......?

  9. Second attempt to post this comment: The photo provided could easily be photoshopped to replace Matt Groenig's head with Bob Forguites, then recaptioned to read "Bob Forguites and campaign team prepare for his 2014 campaign for state legislature."
