Don Gurney Sr. passes away

He co-founded Gurney Brothers Construction in 1957 and dedicated much of his life in Springfield to community service.

Springfield Regional Development Corporation is very sad to learn of the passing of Don Gurney Sr.

 Don was the founder of SRDC and was someone who dedicated much of his life to Springfield through any number of avenues, from the Selectboard, School Board, Rotary and much more.

 Our condolences to Arlene and all of his family. A wonderful gentleman and someone whose spirit and determination is something we should all strive to emulate and honor.
