BOYS BASKETBALL Otter Valley 50, Springfield 28
BRANDON — Collin Eugair stepped up with a big performance, scoring 13 of his 17 points in the third period as the Otters snapped a five-game losing streak.
“He was aggressive,” said coach Greg Hughes. “He was hustling up rebounds and getting second chances.”
OV built a 46-22 lead through three and improved to 4-13 against the 0-17 Cosmos.
“It’s been a tough season,” said Hughes. “It was good to see a good result for some of or hard work.”
Kai Norwood added 15 for the Otters, who visit MSJ on Friday.
“We’ve had two tough ones against them,” said Hughes.
