'Rooming houses' zoning amendment approved

Following an hour-long public hearing on Thursday, Jan. 5, the Springfield Selectboard voted unanimously to adopt proposed amendments to Springfield zoning bylaws intended to bolster safety and regulation of local rooming houses.

  1. I would suggest the town visit Hillcrest property. Garbage, constant traffic- foot and vehicle. People in and out. I can assume that drug dealing is occurring. People living there do not even have VT plates. Houses like these lower property values.
