SPRINGFIELD, VT. - The Springfield Garden Club would like to thank the civic minded sponsors and guests who made this year’s Festival of Trees a huge success. If you missed the event on the Friday before Thanksgiving, you can still view the trimmings thru January 8th. “The stage is set for the ‘Night Before Christmas’ and the sponsor names are there on the columns, “ stated Sandy MacGillivray, Festival co-chair. “One hundred percent of all donations go back to serve the community in the form of civic beautification, scholarships and other programs.”
The current ART exhibition, “Feather & Fur: Portraits of Field, Forest & Farm” includes 9 award-winning artists. Adelaide Tyrol’s large acrylic on canvas “Morning” takes central stage. The exhibition is on view and open to the public M-F, 9-5 through April 2016 stated Nina Jamison, Director of Exhibitions.
