SPRINGFIELD — The Cosmos led at halftime 21-17 before the Minutemen picked up their intensity.
Jessica Audy had 13 of 14 points after the break, including three 3-pointers, as the defending Division II champion Minutemen improved to 11-3.
Rylee Perron had 16 points, including a 6-for-6 performance at the foul line in the second half, and Haley Hull added eight points.
Mill River will host Hartford on Tuesday.
Hannah Crosby and Ari Rowe tossed in eight points apiece for the 4-10 Cosmos.
