Of course, the humble mentor gives credit for the milestone where he believes the credit is due. “I've always said good players make good coaches,” Ladue said. “I've had a run of good players.” One of them would be senior Michael Bradley, who led the charge with a 21-point effort and controlled the boards. Of course, Bradley had some help as Nick Kapuscinski was also a key contributor on the boards and added 12 points. Seth Balch and Connor Gould chipped in with 10 points apiece, Gould's coming off the bench. “That's been our strength lately,” Ladue said. “We've been getting solid contributions off the bench.” Defense has also been a strong point for the Jacks, whose press created several points off turnovers. “They had to make a lot of tough shots and we controlled the boards pretty much,” Ladue said.
