Video: Hoops For a Cure - Springfield VT 2/17/17

Community in Springfield VT comes together to Support Alex, a High School Senior who is Battling Hodgkin's Disease.

Alex Naccarato, a senior at Springfield High School, is bravely fighting a diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and undergoing treatment at Dartmouth Hitchcock. Alex played on the Varsity basketball team until he was diagnosed. He is an excellent student and a kind, responsible young man. Alex can still be spotted on the bench supporting his team mates!

The Booster Club is joining efforts with many to offer an opportunity for funds to be raised to help Alex and his family through this trying time. Please mark your calendars for Friday, 2/17 - home game against Bellows Falls. This game is dedicated to Alex and we will be collecting donations for him as well as selling awareness shirts, ribbons and much more.

We will also be having a bake sale in the cafeteria along with our regular concession offerings. All sales for the night and concessions will be fully donated to Alex and his family.

The cancer ribbon color for Hodgkin's Lymphoma is lavender. We are asking everyone attending to come wearing lavender to help show your support for Alex & his family.

If you are unable to make the game and would like to send a donation - you can send it to the Booster Club at PO Box 666 in Springfield, VT 05156 noted for Alex and we will be sure to pass it along. Please join us as we help Alex fight - No One Fights Alone!
