Springfield Senior Center news | November 08, 2017 By Heather Hall, Executive Diretor On Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m., there will be open Tai Chi classes at the senior center. This class is open to anyone who would like to experience Tai Chi for the first time and get an idea about what the exercise is about — you do not need to sign up for this class. Join us Tuesday as well, from 2 to 3 p.m., to take videographer lessons with SAPA. This will be the perfect introductory to becoming a volunteer with SAPA to record different events that take place around town. On Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m., there will be a Game Day hosted at the senior center. Join us for an afternoon of fun games and great people! The Knit Wits will be meeting in the living room Thursday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join! The Springfield Senior Center Christmas Bazaar is taking place next Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come join the Springfield Senior Center for their largest fundraising event of the year. The cookie walk, food table and luncheon table will be selling delicious homemade goodies to everyone! Also, if you’re interested in being a vendor at the bazaar, please reach out to Heather for details. If you have signed up to be a vendor, please come to the senior center between 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, to set up your space. The doors will open for vendors at 8 a.m. Saturday. If you have any questions about anything above, please reach out to Executive Director Heather Hall, at either (802) 885-3933 or heatherhallssc@gmail.com.
