The River Valley Technical Center (RVTC) awarded the Aaron Douglas Outstanding Dependability award to students at a gathering on Friday, May 18.
The award is given in honor of a former Horticulture and Natural Resources student from Green Mountain Union High School who displayed outstanding dependability in the face of challenging circumstances. Aaron passed away in February 2009 after a long illness.
“This award means a great deal to the staff and alumni at the River Valley Technical Center. It is a huge honor that these students showed the dependability and integrity to earn it,” said Scott Farr, Superintendent/Director at RVTC.
