On Oct. 24 at 12:45 a.m., Vermont State Police stopped a 57 year old Springfield resident driving on Seavers Brook Road in Springfield for a motor vehicle violation.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On this date and time, Vermont State Police stopped 57 year old Mark A. Prediger on Seavers Brook Road in the Town of Springfield (Windsor County) Vermont, for a motor vehicle violation. 

Investigation revealed that Prediger had been drinking and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.  Prediger was transported to Springfield Police Department for processing.

Prediger was later released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on November 13th, 2018 at 0800 hours to answer to the above charge
