On Oct. 23, 2018, detectives with the Vermont State Police charged an inmate at the Southern State Correctional Facility, in Springfield, Vermont, with assaulting a correctional officer.

Woods was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on December 18, 2018 at 8:00 am to answer to the charge.
