Inmate assaults three officers

On Oct. 23, 2018, detectives with the Vermont State Police, charged an inmate at the Southern State Correctional Facility, in Springfield, Vermont, with assaulting three correctional officers.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On October 23, 2018, Detectives with the Vermont State Police, charged 56 year old Mark E. Kriskov, who is an inmate at the Southern State Correctional Facility, in Springfield, VT, for assaulting three Correctional Officers. The Officers were not seriously injured. During the incident, Kriskov intentionally damaged property that belonged to the facility. Kriskov was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on December 18, 2018 at 8:00 am to answer to the charge.
