The team is still $3,500 away from their goal of $10,500 and is hosting a fully-catered dinner-dance and raffle on Friday, December 4th at the Elks Club on Park Street in Springfield, VT. Dinner tickets are just $25 each and include hors d’oeuvres, rolls with butter, salad, an entrée of your choice (roast pork, chicken parmigiana, or vegetarian lasagna), coffee and dessert. Plus, each dinner ticket comes with one free raffle ticket – additional raffle tickets will be available at the event, with prizes including a pair of lift tickets at Okemo Mountain Resort, gift certificates to local restaurants such as Black Rock Steakhouse and 56 Main St Restaurant, movie tickets at Springfield Cinemas 3, a discount off a massage at Advanced Skin Care & Spa, a membership at Snap Fitness and one for the fitness center at the Holiday Inn Express, $100 gift certificate for Small Wonders Window Cleaning, and a variety of locally hand-crafted items from home-made preserves and salsa to Christmas decorations. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, with the winner splitting the cash prize with the team.
A cash bar and hors d’oeuvres will be available at 6pm, with dinner being served at 7pm and music helping to keep the groove going till 10pm. Pre-purchasing dinner tickets is mandatory, so the caterers can secure the proper number of each entrée. why don't the town leaders put the money for the mats in the budget,it's a great program and gives the towns kids something constructive to do,if they can give money to SRDC,SOM and anybody else that asks for it,they can give it to them, how about money from the prison fund ?
