A new sign was recently built, as an Eagle Scout project, for the North School Recreation Park in North Springfield.
The sign was designed, built and erected by local Boy Scout Troop 252 under the direction of Adam Stokarski (kneeling, third from left), who completed the project for his Eagle Scout Merit Badge on behalf of the North School Preservation Society, the nonprofit organization which owns the park and North School Building seen behind the sign. Also pictured are some of the Boy Scouts who worked on the project under Adam’s direction. (Photo by Edwin Fransen)
