RVTC students win first in TV Production
On June 25th and 26th the duo of Elliot Thompson and Rebekah Ferreira, students at the River Valley Technical Center (RVTC) in Springfield took first place in TV Production at the SkillsUSA Championships held in Kansas City, Missouri.

RVTC students win first place at SkillsUSA Vermont
River Valley Technical Center has announced that Elliot Thompson and Rebekah Ferreira of the Audio Video Production Program won a first place in Digital Cinematography at SkillsUSA Vermont. As such, these students have qualified to represent Vermont at the SkillsUSA National Conference/Competition in Louisville, Kentucky.

Elliot Thompson and Rebekah Ferreira, both from Springfield, Vermont, took top honors in the field of high school TV production at the Skills USA National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. They won $15,000 worth of gear as well as scholarships.

On SuperBowl Sunday, the CRV Stingrays shined like the Packers. Soundly beating the Peterborough (NH) Wave as the Stingrays swim team scored 408 points to the Waves’ 152.
